The game boy color. I remember I got it before a trip with Pokemon Red and my mom wouldn't let me play it until the trip began.

The first one I played was Game Boy.The first I owned was a Game boy colour.

Does it still count as my "first" GBA if my cousin had to give it to me as punishment? :)My younger cousin really messed up and got terrible grades so my Aunt gave me his purple GBA. Good for me, bad for him!

I don't think I'm quite old enough to have been a real gamer when the brick was hot. My first was a Game Boy Pocket. I don't remember what color it was because I lost it when I went to Ecuador.

my first GameBoy was my brother's, the original kind, but I used it more, so technichally it was mine. after that came the red Gameboy Pocket,then of course the purple GameBoy Color one,then a transparent GameBoy Advance.

Same here, I had the brick version. It got stepped on quite a few times though... durable as hell, at least.
