Microsoft would be losing even more money than they already are. A portable system would be useless. It has to compete with the PSP and the DS, both of which are wildly popular, and I think that Microsoft has enough of that with Sony and Nintendo with home consoles. Microsoft isn't dumb enough to do that.

Definatley not. Well, I wouldn't buy it anyway. I'm not that big of a fan when it comes to portable consoles. I do have them but I'd much rather have a regular console. Portable consoles are for on the go and when I am I'm usually reading.

they made a portable nefore called the GIzmondo and it sucked realy realy bad. i dont think they will ever go back, the PSP and DS allready own the market...but for the sake of it, if they did make a portable, i would like to see halo being a top tittle

Microsoft making a portable system wouldnt that be a little to much I mean I would much rather have them work on they're home system instead of making a portable I mean it would probly sell good for like a month then die so I say they should'nt make a portable

I doubt it....it would lose too much money because of the DS and PSP. They'll probobly come out with some kind of mini computer before then.should microsoft create a portable system, and if so, should halo be its biggest game?

I dont think ms would ever release a protable system but if it did you can expect a halo on it, it would scare me because it would probably ruin halo for me

i was never big on handhelds untill the PSP it had/has decent games on it which i found hard to get with the other handhelds by nintendo sinse they were geared to younger kids. microsoft could make a descent handheld im sure of that but im not sure how good the games would be. and halo on a handheld would fail halo is all about amazing graphics which wouldnt be easy on a handheld.

No way. Unless the Zune turns out to be an uber-iPod killer (not happening anytime soon), Microsoft's track record when it comes to handhelds/portable devices is terrible. Throw in the fact that the DS is spanking the PSP is terms of sales (yes the PSP is making some headway, but the Game Gear made some headway in its time as well and ultimately lost) and Microsoft isn't crazy enough to become the third wheel on a unicycle.

As far as i have seen a first person shooter does not go well with portable players. But if they changed it to a third person view... we could be considering something

The question to ask isn't should it be its best game but will it be the best game. I would say it'd be up there as one of the best. No word for a portable xbox yet so we'll wait and see.

I say that if microsoft made a handheld game system then halo would never be a good game on it. I mean Halo is already really good on the xbox and they cant just ruined it.

Nah I don't think it can be better on a portable, its best if they have FPS games like that on Consoles, not handheld.

Since the Xbox is more appealing to older people, and handhelds are more appealing to younger people, you can't see a grown man waiting in line playing his portable Xbox? no i don't think so
