I find it to be a good game although computer(expert) in a lot of minigames can be too easy and be impossible to beat in others. Its fun playing with other people but without an online feature it is not that much of a single player game.

This game's good, the touch screen technology makes the minigames fun. But there are not that much minigames, get pretty boring after a while.

any screenshots of this game? wondering if I should get it. Sounds fun.I've never played mario games before, I guess I never really got into them.I heard recent DS mario games really utilized the DS' power, though.

yes, the main flaw is its lack of online multiplayer- Then it could have be a really good game...

It's not that great. Playing with some friends is fun, but it gets boring because there isn't a very large variety of mini-games. I think there are other games that are more fun.

Compared to the complete crap that the last few console Mario Party games have been, I thought Mario Party DS was a breath of fresh air. Most of the mini-games were well-balanced enough to be competitive, but simple enough to be fun. There weren't many "MASH A BUTTON REALLY FAST" games, which is always a plus. Also, I liked all of the boards they made for this one. The fact that you can have four players play the complete game with each other on one game card is a huge, HUGE plus, too. I would definitely recommend this game if you're at all a Mario Party fan and have friends who own DSes.

Hopefully it'll be considerably better than Mario Party Advance. That rendition was so bad, it wasn't even somewhat enjoyable.
