It really matters on what games you play. A game like Wii Sports of Wii Fit will probably get you much more excercise than something like need for speed : carbon, where you just hold the wiimote sideways. also it matters if you "cheat" and just use wrist flicks or minimize the arm movements (like me O_O ) you won't get as much excercise, but it does give more excerise than most other systems. It's really a great system.

It pretty much depends on the game I'm playing. When playing Wii Sports, sure it's exercise. But playing a game like Twilight Princess, not exercise but still great fun =D

I don't think it is.In most games, the most you need is to gently swing the Wii mote for things to work.If people get really into it and do it like crazy, well that's other story.

I love the boxing on wii sports, I just HAD to get 2000 points in it before the others, it was like a goal to achieve on the wii lol. from 1400 upwards, my arms started to get tired per match, (DAMN BLOCKS!)The wii games I like to play are mostly the ones that have everyone joining in, like Rayman raving rabbids.. I would rarely get a 1 player game.. the only 1 player game I have at the mo is Call of duty 3.I don't really think of playing wii as exercise, it doesn't actually go through my mind that I am doing exercise.. it's just some funFIFA 2008 is awesome!

It is the way me and my brother play Wii Sports. We always end up smack talking eachother and dancing aruond while bowling....quite funny if you ask me..we end up sweating a lot after the round is done.

Anything you do that works your body and wears you out is exercising.

tell me what you think. I get a sweat on playing wii sports. It would be cool to have something like this in a gym

I count it as exercise, it's not the best way to exercise, but it's the funnest

It is if you play a game like Wii Sports or Wii Fit.But other than that, unless it's a mini-game compilation, then no.

I think it depends on which game your playing. Wii Sports is obviously is one with tons of exercising.
