Really. I start to doubt the point of the wrist strap :gs:.I mean really, I've never gotten too carried away with videogames, and certainly not so much that I would throw something.

Yeah, I've just gotten used to putting it on now.Except for games where you have to use the Wii Remote on its side, then I don't bother because it just gets in the way.

I always wear the wrist strap. I also make everyone else in the family wear it, too. I lost grip of the Wiimote once, and so did my six year old. It is a bit awkwark, though, and can get in the way of some controller positions.

using the strap highly depends on what game I'm playing. If I am playing games like Wii sport or rayman raving rabids, I force everyone I play with to wear the strap. if it's stuff like Twilight princess, okami, or house of the dead. there really is no reason. I highly doubt you would break anything unless you like to exaggerate your movements.

Sometimes I do wear it, but if I'm only going to be playing for a few minutes or just watching the screen (Internet Channel), then I see no point to wearing it. I'm not swinging it around which in turn will not lead to violence or harming somebody else :santa:

I've actually hurt myself without using the strap, and others, but I do it all the same.Sometimes it's a good laugh to watch your controller wiz through the air and see the expression on my friend's faces when it hits the tv screen.

The wii technically belongs to my brother (xBox 360 is mine though) so he requires that I wear the stupid wrist band every time I play it.D;He doesn't wear it though. But, I make him wash his hands before touching the xBox 360 controllers, so it's all cool.:3

Yes because i have heard so many tales about people accidently throwing their wii remotes at the tv, roof and out the window and i don't want to be one of them.

Do I wear the wrist strap? Ummmm, nope not really, sometimes maybe but no I don't. Seems useless to those with a good grip on the Wii Remote.

I always wear my wrist strap. However, my question is if someone does not wear their wrist strap and the remote slips out of their hand hitting the Wii and breaking it, is their Warranty voided due to not using the equipment properly?

I wear a wrist strap if a game requires extreme movement of the controller, like the Twilight Princess.

Sometimes I use it. I never use it for Super Smash Brothers Brawl though, but that's only because I use a Gamecube Controller.
