I always use the wrist strap because although I've never dropped or let go of the remote there is allot of breakable stuff in the same room as my Wii therefore a thrown remote could be a big problem.

Does anyone else use a CRT television with their Wii? Letting go of the remote and crashing it into the TV would probably shatter the remote instead of vice versa on a wimpy plasma-screen.Besides, I don't play anything requiring remote waving anymore. Just me and my classic controller.

I did at first, but honestly, it just got in the way. Not to mention the chafing. I get why they included it, but I don't have any use for it, myself.

I don't because I never swing the remote so wildly.Should have made my cousin wear it though. She threw my brand new wiimote across the room while playing and it got dented =(How do you even let go of the controller? It should always be in your hands!!
