I always wear the wrist strap. I get pretty hyper during games. Red Steel required one in my case.I also don't want to hurt myself or anyone around me.

The Wiimote can easily slip out of your hands, and the risk increases over time, as your hands start to get sweaty. That's why there's the strap, so that it doesn't go flying into the tv/other breakable object/someone else's eye.

ehhh i think its pointless sometimes, i mean even if ur doing an exaggerated movement, you gotta be kinda slow in order to let go of your emote, and even if you do, it wouldnt be that hard to catch again... i mean ive went really fast, accidentally let go of my remote and caught it a second later.. maybe im just special cuz i seem to know when im about to accidentally let go =p

I do when playing Wario Ware.. this is a recent thing though..One of the micro-games requires you to actually let go of the wiimote. I thought it was strange, but what the hey.

That Wiimote is a slippery bastard. I wore my strap from the day I got it and played Wii Sports.

I have to use it, I'm a college student on a low budget who can't afford to have my TV break.
