gamers aren't nerds unless they don't have a social life, and I agree with that, every one should create some kind of bounds with people, after all games are not every thing.

gamers are disliked cuz they spend their life in front of a flashing screen manipulating variables that do not acutally matter, playing a game that has no point...instead of socializing with people and doing things that matter...i can say all that cuz i love gaming...

at my school.. there isn't really anything against gamers, and most of the gamers aren't "nerdy-looking" just normal people. anyone who says that all gamers are nerds.. probably is a nerd at heart.

LOLI am a chronic gamer myself, and I don't find any problem with my classmates.I think people call you a nerd by the way you act, not by your habits.Try to evaluate yourself before jumping into conclusions. It takes two or more people to start a conflict, so solving it by blaming others will not have any results.

Well.. most of the "gamers" in our school play sports games, like FIFA(FTW.). The white kids also play a lot of halo, but thats like a shootemup game. Not a lot of gamers here are called nerds. Only the ones that actually talk about them constantly are considered "nerds" and it'd have to be the stereotypical WoW player or osmething. Those people just CAN"T stand.

I wouldn't call gamers nerd and i don't know why they call gamers nerd. I don't even know why the call people who knows alot about computers nerd. Maybe they're jeolous because they don't knoow as much as they do.Games are fun and u cant live with out them.

Gamers are nerds? News to me. Everyone plays games in some shape or form. If that were true, everyone would be a nerd, and no one would be any better than each other. In my opinion, nerds are people who spend all day, everyday on the computor, cant do physicall activities, can do maths well and know some sci-fi series (movie or tv) inside out. That may well be a stereyo typical "nerd", but thats the only person i would call a nerd.

you should try to balance your social life with your gaming career. Many people won't get to know you if you don't leave your house and such and such. I act completely different when i talk to people in real life rather than when i talk to them in halo2.
