Yeah. The D & D days. But also because people think that all gamers are smart. And nerds are smart so... yeah. It's about 50/50 with gamers as far as those that are intelligent to the point of nerdom.

qft... but in my opinion, you can play games with your friends who are in different countries in like...computer games, and its true you dont have to fight the crowdsBecause we would rather play games than go wasting lots of money going to Starbucks, or the movies, or out to eat. Gaming is a lot cheaper, and you don't have to fight the crowds

We are called nerds because of what has already been said they assume that gameing is all we do. Obviously that's false because hey, we're posting on this forum and that's not a video game is it? But realy I'de rather play a game on my NES than go to an acrade or the mall where all those lesser mortals hang out any day.

gamers are nerds? nah gamers are cool . i find that people who have a strong interest in manga and anime stuff are often labeled as nerdy or weird though.

I thought the whole nerd thing was a thing of the past. Everyone plays games now a days not just teenagers, look at me I'm a 39 year old gamer and I'm proud of it.

It depends on what kind of gamer u are, but alot of haters are out there too just because their little minds cannot comprehend your vast knowlege of gaming they try to make what ur doing seem to be wrong.

I think gaming takes more knowledge then others would think...some games make you think outside the box to get where your going, while others make you look at things differently then you would...I don't think gamers should be called nerds just because they are smarter in ways people don't usually look at...you have to have some what of a smart mind to figure some stuff out...and maybe those people that call you nerds are the ones that wish they could do what you can.
