If DC games werent so easily pirated, Sega probably would still be shipping games and consoles right now.

im not too sure about re-releases of the machines...I thnk re-releasing the games for new platforms is a good idea, especially in the hand-held market. I'd love to play the original sonic games on GBA, as well as cool spot, streets of rage, some of the old wrestling games.

I agree with you, they should re-release the games for new platforms. And I, too, enjoyed playing Streets of Rage :) . The third one was the best :) .

They are bringing them back in the form of "porting" over to new systems mostly hand helds. If you ask me its a great/easy way to make money. Sell the same game twice at different times. Kinda like a car after it becomes a classic.

Timing is everything with these things. Right now the video game market is flooded and PSP and DS are on the way. I'd say now is not a good time to release a new game system...especially for poor luckless Sega.

Oh, they'll bring back their past alright... and if I know those companies like I think I do, they'll bring them back at premium prices.

What's the point of bringing them back? They can just release the games that were on those old consoles to new ones with better stuff.

They'll port most old games that made money, and ignore a lot of hidden gems. However, this is why we have EMULATION. :D

I think they should maybe make one system to play all of those games and release the games in the system format.

Well I know for a fact the Nintendo already has started doing so. I mean if you go out abd buy Windwaker for Gamecube you get all the Zeldas on one miniDVD. So that shows that they are at least starting to.

YES! they should re-release a LOT of their old games...and they should bring some to america that were ONLY in japanese...such as Star Ocean 1 and Tales of Phantasia for SNES and Playstation 1. They are such good games that us americans never got because of one stupid reason. they didnt think it would make "enough money". so they denied us all that fun and fantasy...but luckily...tjose nice guys at www.dejap.com made a special translation for the SNES version... so now its free to the public...but yea...nintendo and sega had some really really good games...yet since they are out of production...we are forced to DL them as roms...but wouldnt it be so fun to see more of them with updated graphics and storylines and the such? Nintendo and sega should re-release their GOOD games....none of those crappy ones like "barneys hide and seek" and the such...
