Nintendo and Sega had the greatest games in the past but now times have changed. I dont think any1 would buy the games cause every1 can just download them for free

Looks like with the Revolution, at least 221 NES, SNES and N64 games will be made available for download.

i think it should be a good idea, but just for old school gamers, i think i would buy a snes or a genesis (i got a nes already) but its impossible, that would mean a huge cost for sega and nintengo, plus that means releasing the games again... that means more money...

They shouldn't rerelease them, but they should make more Mairo and Sonic sidescrollers! Especially Mario, we haven't seen a classic sidescroller from him since...since...since those SNES ones were remade for GBA.

A few game that should be ported to new systems:Panzer Dragoon Saga (NOW! on XBOX and PS2...get it done SEGA!!!)Dragon FoceShining Force 3 (all 3 seneraios this time SEGA!)The Super Star Wars games (This should be a no brainer.. why they are not on GBA I'll never know)Dragon Warrior 5 & 6 (Bring them to me NOW!)Castlevania: Rondo of Bloodand while I'm at it Symphony of the Night would make a nice Bonus game. :(Nintendo made a good step with the Zelda's Collectors Disc. Capcom is on the right track with the Mega Man and Street Fighter collections. Several Collections should be made. CastlevaniaDragon WarriorSuper Star Wars seriesShining ForcePhantasy Star (I have 1-3 on GBA, now where is 4?)I love classic games. :s

N-I-N-T-E-N-D-O R-E-V-O-L-U-T-I-O-N!!!! Short answer: They are. Long Answer: The Revolution will be caplable of playing all NES-N64 games by downloading, and NGC games with the disks. Sega has also said they will make Genesis, Dreamcast, Saturn games available through the service. But you'll have to pay to use it.

i think nintendo should make brand new nes and snes and nes and snes games and sell the systems for nes: 30 and the snes: 50 and the games for nes: 10 and the games for snes: 20.....i bet if they were to do that they would make a lot of money because a lot of ppl want brand new nes and snes systems because they were two of the best systems made by nintendo besides there later systems

That depends on if they give it a face lift to match the hardware we have now, like Dig Dug, I just cant see that as a good 3D game, and as for the good games like Metroid and Metal Gear why re release when you can add to the story line. I mean I gotta tell you I loved Metal Gear Snake Eater. But I digress, like I said it depends on the game and whether or not it would look good.btw Crimson Im pretty sure that by saying that nes and snes are the best systems nintendo has made besides their later systems includes all of the systems nintendo has made. Im not sure so if Im wrong feel free to tell me, but as far as I know nintendo has made 4 systems, and they go in order nes, snes, n64, and gamecube.

I don't think re-reealsing old systems would do them any good. I mean, just look at the site you're at! Games are free to download, as are the emulators. Sure, some people would buy the systems for nostalgiapurposes, but not enough to offset the cost or remanufacturing. Like previously said, releasing old games on new systems is cool, but that's as far as it's gonna go.
