Which do you prefer? A lot of players take 1.6 over Source, I being one of them. I don't get to play often but it's a great game.

its only for my own personal opinion but i like CS:Source better although requires a better system requirements than of 1.6 thats why people go for CS 1.6 instead for a lower requirements...

I'm just curious as to why nobody ever talks about Condition Zero? Because that's my favourite as it's got my favourite custom maps and the bots are alot better than podbots -- oh yeah, I' not much of an online gamer because my connection sucks.Anyway, between 1.6 and Source, I'd have to say Source because that's what I do play online when I get the chance.

i'll answer your curiosity...its simple...the argument here is about CS:Source and CS 1.6...comparing only about these 2 games and nothing else included...if you want to talk about it try to create a topic for that...

Source! A friend of mine plays 1.6 and when he plays Source, he sucks real bad. And with 1.6 I can never beat him. So I like Source better.

I like source just because of the models and graphics, especially the lighting on some of the new maps. But people prefer 1.6 sometimes because they say its too easy to get headshots in source. Aka they played source and realized how bad they were.

I rather choose 1.6 becuse its the best CS out there, and CS:S are for beginners becuse its easier to HS in that game, i promise those who play CS:S much they'r gonna have a hard time to HS in 1.6, so if you wanna be a pro so play 1.6

A new game will be released, it is a mix between 1.6 and sourceIt will have the 1.6 engine and the graphics from sourceI hope it will be a good mix

i only liked source because of the graphics...any other stuff sucks compared to 1.61.6 is better

No no no!lag happens in all games!Source has better graphics, models, and maps!1.6 is more oldschool...i play 1.6 for the surf maps anf knifemapsso CSS has better graphics, and other than that it sucks? u mean like explosions and lag and shots e.t.c.?

1.6 all the waysource is way to ez to get headshotsbut 1.6 is all about skills that kills:Dand the1.6 mixing with source looks kinda like condition zeroexcept the chars are more "poofy"?
