Mine broke the first day I got it after launch but I saw this kit that is being sold online that fixes the problem so don't go out and buy a whole new one its an easy fix!!

well after reading until the 7th page i realised this was far to long read the entirety but i get the basic point plenty of others have had bad luck with thier 360's.i havent=) it freezes once every 2 or 3 days and simply needs to be left to cool for 10 minutes but nothing significant...did destroy the same game twice although completely my fault.

no, xbox is kinda of bluky and head strong, i drop it on the ground 5 times and hasnt broke.

Mine has broken twice, but the second time they sent it back they gave me 30 day free trial of Xbox live so its all good.

no it hasnt i had mine since 5 months after lauch i personally belive the 3 lights of death is just made up by sony fanboys because i know 12 people who has had theirs since lauch and none of theirs has broken either

I bought the new style heat sink (with heat pipe) for the GPU off of ebay then installed it in my new, unused, xbox360.I also replaced the X-clamps and thermal compond(AS5), put a 60mm fan in the side of the case, installed talismoon fans and did the air shroud mod.Did I do enough to stop the Three Rings Of Death?

well ive had two that have broke and got replaced now im waiting for the new ones to break too! at least they extended the warrantys :-p

yo mine broke twice. Once it was my fault...kept it on a rug. Second time i gave it about 5 feet of air behind it soo no fault on me. But u gotta love the all inclusive repairs from MS

My friend got the red ring of death. He acted like he was gonna sue microsoft and they sent him a new 360, Halo 3, and 2 free years of xbox live.

Only had problems with on the s/w front. I've never had a console fail on me ever, I honestly don't get why everyone else's I know seemly breakdown for no reason whatever and I'm forced to come over and fix them. Never can find any faults on the manufacturer's side and its usually they were broken by a controller sent flying at them or some other kind of projectile they won't tell me about. So word to the wise just be more careful with you're game consoles and they wont breakdown as much, as simple as.

yes first the disc tray falled(it's a looong history{i destroyed it because it said that my brand-new halo 3 game was dirty}) then..........................................ALELUYA! the red ring of death!
