Yes!My xbox360 is broken after i played if for 8 months.It kept showing the three red lights of doom thing.Can someone tell how to fix it?I'm very desperite.

Surprisingly enough, mine has not broken in the 2 years I have had it, though it has been recalled due to the whole "starting a fire" ordeal.

I got red ring of death twice, but MS kindly replaced my warranty and fixed twice for free with fast shipping.

Mine broke on the day we bought it, the day the 360 was released.We turned it on, and instead of a green light around the switch, there was a red light 
My mum, who had woken really early to get the 360 for us, came into the room and saw my brother and I sitting in front of the TV with an error message on it.She was like: Oh no they didn't and lol she went back to the store and prolly gave them the biggest. . ever.We've now got a 360 that has worked fine ever since...

man i have had mine since last christmas and it havent broken it so i feel lucky or defeated the system...Mine is still in tip-top shape. By keeping it in an open-aerated area, most overheating problems go away. And I don't play it 10 hours a day, so it helps too. Overall, I just take good care of my 360, and I plan to have it just as long as I've had my regular XBOX.

hahahahaha your lucky mine broke three days after the warranty had ended and i had to pay for the repairs i had a long time getting over the lose toomine got the ring of death with a month left on my warranty so i was happy i didn't have to pay for anything to get repaired. mine was one of the release day consoles.

yea my xbox burned up i guess. a week after the warranty was up. i called xbox and told them to fix it. they tried charging me crazy amounts. i complained and first got %10 off then 30 then 50 off the price. 69.99. got a new one in the mail

Mine broke less than a week after purchase. Microsoft is working on it now. Kind of annoying,but at least they are owning up to the flaws and fixing it for free.

yea so heres my story.first a while back when xbox first came out. our xbox broke. so we sent it in. and then got it back.then the week halo 3 is coming out. my brother in law pre-orders it. and then i get the game SKATE. (way fun)so we're all pumped to play both of the games.i put in SKATE, and it starts to freeze on me. so i was just questioning why it was doing that.then my Bro-in-Law got Halo 3. so we go to put it in. and we find out our x-box is broken.and yet, till this day, its still broken cause nobody has the time to call microsoft. =[yea it sucks.so i still have SKATE and Halo 3 sitting in my living room
