I've lost two. RRoD and the other was scratching up my disks. Now on lucky number 3.

mine broke on the first daythe disk drive wouldn't openi replaced it with a better one thoughthe xbox is really loudbut graphics and games are good soHas your Xbox 360 crashed/broken/melted?

I got the red ring hardware failure right before halo 3 came out so i had to do some waiting before I got to play on my xbox

My Xbox broke down at the worse time. It broke down during the summer and I didn't want to use my computer because it was crap, but if it happens again I got a better computer to counter the problem

My 360 has a problem with the disc tray. I need to close the disc tray multiple time before it finally reads what it is. It usually works quicker on DVD's but often takes up to 5 minutes of me pressing close, it waiting and reopening, and then me pressing close, it waiting and reopening and etc. but it works fine after that

Mine hasn't broken, and i hope it doesnt soon, but most of friends have sent theirs in at least once. I know that "baking" it is a quick fix for the 3 red rings. 4 rings, your stuff is screwed.

mine completely shut down and i needed to send it to microsoft and get it fixed. but i was alright with it coz it only took 5 days and they game me 1 month free xbox live

itz probally doin that becuz ur turning the system while tha disc is spinnig.. i had the same problemno it hasnt broken yet but it is ruining the game discs to the point it can read them.

Mine broke a year and a half after i first got it. So I got a core( this happened like 3 weeks before M$ announced that they will have free extended warrantys for all. ). A few months later, like a week after halo came out, of course i got the red ring of death yet again. So i splurged and got the halo edition. I wanted hdmi anyway so i guess it sort of worked out :/
