yeah LOL, mine broke like 3 weeks ago, i sent it away then, and its still not back yet, damn microsoft. but its still better than PS3 IMO. i want my xbox360 back :'(

mine broke after the first couple of months, but i sent it back and got a new one. pretty sure it was an overheating thing

Yeah, a couple of times, mostly cus every time I get a new game I am devoted to beat it and end up playing for like 8 hours a day

I got mine at launch and the only problem so far was me leaving it on during a thunderstorm. It fried the power brick, but this was replaced within a week for free (they had extended the warranty on launches). I find it truly odd that people seem to have so many issues with red circles and such. I play mine more than your average gamer (pbly logged over 6000 hours on it and in relatively long segments) and its just the system sitting on a flat bookshelf with all my other consoles (also none of which have ever failed me). I'm placing bets the majority of people having issues have third party inter-coolers attached....notorious for CAUSING problems.

Mine has broken 4 times, having to send it back 3 of the 4. But, it hasn't done so again in about 6 months now, so maybe it's over with.

yep i got the infamous 3 rings of death and ever since i got it back whenever i use it hum and sounds like a helicopter or something, very annoying

Yes! I was so dissapointed when the three red lights showed up. It was such a hassle. I wasted a month's subscription to Xbox live. So it was not only a hassle but it was costing me money!

mines in my cold basement out in the open so ive never had any problems, even though some of my friends did the same thing and their's still overheated =P

Mine didn't really break, I moved once and got a red ring, moved it back and it was gone, air flow problems.

well technically MY xbox 360 has never brokenbut since i am always borrowing from my friends i guess you could say mine has broken since my friends hasit was quite a tramatic experience

My first one was having trouble with the disk tray getting stuck so I had to get a replacement for that. Then I got a red ring of death on it. On my third now and it definitely seems to be working well.

yup, mine has broken it show me three red lights and i don't want to repair it because it will overheat again in one week so i will just buy the new xbox 360 the elite version.it's better.
