My 360 has had no problems! even after 16 hours of strait Crackdown! also, cuz i knew of the problems that Microsoft has been having, i bought mine from BestBuy and got the 4 year extended warranty! DO THIS! instead of the 1 year warranty, i got 4! and it only cost me $50.00! ive had it for almost a year now so about 3 years on the warranty, and the only problem ive had was the sound cut out after the 16 hour gaming session, and that was from the fiberoptic audio cable i was using, well anywho, get a 360 for Bestbuy, buy the extended warranty, and dont worry about it!

nope mine's in good shape because i treated it well but I have a 1 red light once and I'm really frightened to see it but it turns out that it's just my hard drive that's messed up so I replace it as quick as I can and I haven't got any problem since then.. I've got mine a year ago...

Nope, I've had mine since launch and have some problems with it, but it hasn't died yet. I know that it will and I'm hoping it does before my 3 years is up next November. Sounds dumb, right? But hey, if they'll fix it for free within the time frame allowed then I'm really hoping it'll break before I'm forced to buy a new one.

mine got the red rings of death a few times, but in the end, it was just the screen freezing that made me break down and ship it off to those idiots at the tech support center.

I pulled it out of the box, and it wouldn't start. I took it back and got it replaced, but that counts as breaking at least once.

Strange things happened[br /]My 360 got the red ring of death 3 times. I dont know why either. NO its not the 4 rings lighted or 2 or 1 its the 3 rings all but the top left. Which is the red ring of death. I never sent it in to get fixed but i can fix it myself.But in order for it to work you have to turn it on a certain way. And i also got the error code 0020 which is said to be possibly overheating but i know for a fact that it isn't becuase i got the intercooler and outercooler.

Mine just randomly gets errors every so often, but nothing a restart doesn't fix but I think it's still bad though, the first time I was setting it up it had an error and I called the number and it was based somewhere in the Middle East and I couldn't understand her and likewise for her I think

I got my 360 on release day and didn't start having problems until just last year. Now I got a shiny new Elite cause I have a friend that works @ game exchange and just let me exchange it!

Mine Hasn't Completley broke but it has chewed up a few games. but is still goin at the minute. my mates has completly conked out.Has your Xbox 360 crashed/broken/melted?

oi seriously i dont see what the fuss is because mine is working quite fine actually. i bought it when it first came out and till now it is working perfectly dont see why mine doesnt brake and u guys do oh well

thats a terrible ratio, esp considering its almost 50/50 and then almost a 1/4 of ppl that said yes have had it broken more than oncemine broke right around when skate and halo were released 
it keeps telling me to put the disc in an xbox 360 console... evidently i got the 350 with the sucky lens
