I would have to say this was back in middle school, but I can't be positive about how old I was. All I remember was a friend whipping out a gameboy and the Red Version so the first pokemon I saw was Charizard. And I was sitting there going, "What is that? A badly drawn dragon?"

I was around 9 or something, and saw a Vulpix. Kind of how Nine Tails ended up being my favorite Pokemon.

you mean the show or the game? cuz i'm 15 and i saw pokemon red and in advertisement and started watching the show back when it came on once every sunday. if anyone knows how long ago that is then subtract that from my age and thats how old i was

When I was three, my aunt got me into it ( at that time she was 13 ) and I watched ever since. She gave me Pokemon Red when I was five ( she was 15 ) becuase I kept teasing her saying "You like Will" and "Kissy kissy" and stuff like that. She finally said shut up and ill give you red. It was nice making buisness with her. lol, but the first pokemon I saw, was a nidoran ( in the game ) called out by profesor oak, and in the show, haunter I think, it was showeed in the TV on the first episode when ash was waking up

I guess I was 13 when I first saw a pokemon, as that's how old I was when the game came out! XDSo... then the first pokemon I ever saw was a Charizard. That's the full-grown one from Pokemon red, right? Yeah, my litle brother bought Pokemon. I though it was stupid at first. Now I'm the only member in my family who owns the new one.

by Lemon_98! I was 6 years old it was kind of in the middle of the episode of JhotoLeague Champions and i saw a miltank.I was 9 years...i saw in the middle of the first season...I simply love pikachu....and chansey!!
