I read a tutorial about how to do this... but it didn't really help me...Does anyone know some quick ways to blend images into the background with either a full image or a cut-out (rendered)?

Play around with the opacity and stuff, eg have like 50% instead of 100%, do soft light, hard light, vivid light etc.
