The voices in japanese sound much better. When you actually translate, it doesn't sound so great

It should definatly be sub-titled. I hate seeing translated games where the people talk and the voice acting doesn't match up at all cause it isn't the original language....of course i hate seeing poor voice acting even more when it is the original languagfe and it doesn't match up.

there are so many japenese games that i want to play because they look so fun but no i cant read Japanese ><3i've only been able to play one Japanese game and that wud be jump ultimate stars. but u dont really need to read to play that game

Totally agree with that. Sometimes, it's not I prefer it because it's Japanese, but just that the dub's not of a very good quality, and just doesn't fit with the game. On the other hand, my Japanese knowledge is rudimentary at best, so if I have no choice, I'd put up with the dubbing....I personally think subbing is better...because!most of the time when they translate voice it in english... it sounds..... uhh... well not as good...like it doesnt flow with the game...yeah.

Reading subtitles is a bother, but so can english voice acting. Hard decision...

Well simply put if the dub is a rush job I'd rather have subtitles rather than having to listen to bad English dubs.

i personally have nothing against voice overing as long as the game based voice acting is from taht region. for one i dislike voice overs for naruto or bleach in english. its horrific and japanese just flows better. i would rather go threw more trouble to read the translated guide and get a japanese games instead of the english version of it if it has too much voice overs.

no way . . . that's part of the fun of playing japanese games, trying to figure out what they're saying.and since i'm learning japanese in school, it just helps reinforce what i'm learning.

I prefer subtitles, Megaman ZX Advent sounds too false. But if the voices are translated nice it would be ok..

I really like games that can put in the effort to translate the voices. Even if they're crap, it shows they've put in the effort, and it's easiers on the eyes (and most of the time ears!)

depending on the quality, I would prefer no voice at all really. Cause usually it ends up sounding tinny or squeaky or fake. lol yea i just prefer words.
