I don't have just one favorite comedian but I like Dave Chappele, Steve Martin, Dane Cook, Nick Swardsten, Will Ferrel, Steve Colbert, Bill Murray, Dan Akroyd and the underrated Harold Ramis.

I'm a fan of Andrew Dice Clay's earlier material, but he hasn't been funny in a long time. David Cross is pretty damn funny too, but I haven't seen or heard anything from him since he did the voiceover for Zero in GTA San Andeas.

Um...definately Carlos Mencia. I watch Mind of Mencia like all the time on Comedy Central and have even taped some of the shows. Any time I need a laugh I just pop in the dvd and I'll be laughing for like an hour straight.

Russell Peters is the funniest I've ever heard. He's a Canadian Indian, if you've never heard of him. Also, the people who do "Comedy Central Presents" are usually really good non-pros in their own right.
