I like Ranger the most ^^I mean it's a new idea unlike the other gamesall the same typedash's for kids, so is trozei or whatever it's called XDI mean u dont even have to think in them lolso yeah

Well I know its not released in the US yet, but I'm gonna say HeartGold and SoulSilver, just due to them being the remakes for well you guessed it, Gold and Silver. Two of my favorites next to the Original Blue/Red. I'm just psyched at what they may have added to these classics.

Yes, Platinum is definitely way better than both Diamond and Pearl.However, I think Platinum is not here because this topic started in 2007 and Platinum was not released then. Diamond and Pearl were already released at the time this topic started.Anyway, if I had to choose, I'd randomly choose Diamond but Platinum definitely beats it.Why the heck isn't Platinum on here?! Platinum kicks both Diamond and Pearl to the curb because the battle action in Platinum is a lot faster than it is in the other 2. Not to mention, you get the chance to capture a whole lot more legendaries as well!

personally I liked platinum, but I played diamond before that so I had to go with that. I like the old school pokemon rpgs. sooooo good

i agree to the people supporting diamond, but in my opinion not a single new pokemon game compares to the original red and blue. those were simply amazing. diamond is just too slow. it takes forever for actions to be completed.

I love platinum! But since it's not on here I'd have to choose Diamond. They are both awesome games but I think pokemon Crystal is better. They should remake that generation (gold, silver, crystal) in English. They have in Japan (Heart Gold, Soul Silver) but they haven't translated it into English yet. I hope they do soon.

My fav PKMN game isn't on the poll: It's Mystery Dungeon Explorers of Sky (the "special chapters" are really creative and funny)

i'd choose ranger cause im a bit tired of normal pokemon series, i really liked the ranger system is quite chalenging to spin all the way 
but i dont mind playing a normal pokemon too since i got Pearl

Out of all these games excluding the new Heart Gold/Soul Silver Pokemon games, I would have to say that probably Pearl would have to be one of the best Pokemon games due to Palkia's base stats and its ability to go mixed when needed to sweep teams

I know i put pearl but you cant beat the old red blue and yellow. They are just classics, still play them now.

Pokemon Diamond is really nice, but I really hate the graphics. Maybe they should have kept the same graphics from emerald/ruby/sapphire.
