no hand helds aren't stupid, take super mario 64 for example: on the nen 64 they graphics weren't as good, the game pack was big and it 100 stars in the game( to my knowlege) but on the ds it had improved graphics, tiny game card and 150 stars. also it had touch screen controls and mini games. Besides that do you have a hand held? because most people who hate something dont know much about it.(no offence)

Handhelds are far from stupid. Until recently they were a portal backwards in time to the era of classic gaming. Now they are at least still a means to keep entertained when away from your precious 360.

Why would it be stupid? It may look childish to some before but handheld gaming is now accepted. Of course, sometimes it depends on setting, you wouldn't play in a bad neighborhood as it can be a bait for robbers, or you wouldn't play it in a meeting with your boss...

a ton of ds games r and psp is getting very repetitive most games are japanese weirdo games shooters of figting theres no classic adventures anymore like pokemon or zelda or mario thats why i play snes and sometimes 64 no next gen crap even tho i have a 360

no, handhelds are not stupid. Stupidity is a level of intelligence, and handhelds have no intelligence. It's just electrical currents traveling through the motherboard and components that is "decided" by what the programmer programs.just kiddin. But no, a PSP + PS3 + HDTV (with firmware udate 2.0 for ps3) is going to be amazing; a home entertainment system away from home.

Only the sh*tty handhelds such as the Atari Lynx. Thank God Microsoft bought the rights to Chip's Challenge and made it into something amazing for the PC.

i like handhelds, but i hate the battery life....if they could somehow extend the battery life to near infinite proportions, that would be awesome

Absolutely not, without handhelds we would not have great titles, such as Meteos, or remakes of great older console games like the final fantasy series
