No way, hand-helds are the best when it comes to traveling and sitting on the toilet in your washroom and when things gets dark in your house, meaning when it's a total black-out, the only way to use your time is to play hand-helds if you own one...

Multi player mode anywhere(almost), and not been stuck in the same place in front of a TV set. Too good to pass.

I have owned...a gameboy color...gameboy advance....two gameboy advance SPs and a PSP. So of course I am going to tell You that handhelds are like th greatest gam systems in the world. On an airplane in the car on the train...HANDHELDZ BABY...there the game

Why would the be dumb, its good if you are going on a long boring car trip with the family, and you don't like talking to then, its good if your family or on the bigger consoles and you want to play AND its good CUZ POKEMON OWNS!

What do you mean by, "The effort creators put into them"? I mean, like they didn't put enough effort into it? Nintendo is quite reliable for handhelds. They are quite awesome and I am infatuated with mine. If you mean too much effort put into the handheld... I'm definitely thinking handhelds are the way to go. They make the creators tons of money, and they capture the hearts of gamers on the go. Isnt' that enough? I mean, seriously...

handhelds started to get pretty crappy, but the efforts like the PSP and the open-source GP32/GP2X are bringing them back.

The worst thing you can do is pick ur nose and then play ur handheld...SICK!!What else is there to do when sitting on a plane for 8 hours.. You can either pick your nose or playing a handheld.. your choice.Id choose the 1st choice though.. j/k
