Some games are rather playing in PC, another in console.I can't imagine playing RTS with joystick in console. And I can't enjoy playing FPS with joystick either. so this is my thought:PC pro: control for RTS and FPS, easy to modification, playing from Harddisk con: need upgrade (man, thats so expensive), So rare japanese games (especially RPG), need install

PC ftw.- Made for FPS and RTS. Adventure/RPG games are brilliant as well.- Despite non conformity with hardware, PC's can always be upgraded and used for something else. Internetz and doing homework for a few compared with the sole purpose of gaming on a console.

I need both, console for firends or games that don't come on pc, and pc for when alone or online game like Runescape. Whats best is a computer that can emulate all the consoles out there9 can anyone say "affordable super-computer"?).

I would rather play on Pc, simply because its more demanding and challenging. Pc gamers are Elite games full stop! Its a pity most peoople switched to consoles instead. Get a pc gamer and and a console ganmer together and a Pc gamer will beat them 80 percent of the time on either platform.

WASD FOR LIFE.PC has all the good games.Look at this personal list of mine, for games being released, and remember PC gamers will have better graphics, tighter controls, free multiplayer, mods, and pay $10 less for these games than anyone playing on a console. Not to mention 3-4 of these amazing games will never see the faces of those dull, score driven console gamers:1. Limbo (PC) - TBA *** - ( 2-D independent game. Google: Limbo Game for more info.)2. Fallout 3 (PC) - Fall 2008 ***3. Spore (PC) - September 2008 ***4. Empire: Total War (PC) - February 2009 ***5. Far Cry 2 (PC) - Fall 2008 ***6. Rise of the Argonauts (PC) - September 2008 ***7. Mirror's Edge (PC) - Q4 2008 ***8. Dragon Age (PC) - 2009 ***9. Mafia II (PC) **

for along time PC gaming as been my top gaming style, but it's been a realy bad years for PC as a gaming platform. there aren't very good exclusive titles on computer, and the few that exist have a few problems. for example there's only one game for this year that is going to be a huge sucess on pc, i'm talking about spore, but i'm sure it will be released on xbox at least. and that's the thing, all good titles for pc are released on consoles. that's what pc, as a gaming platform, needs. A good and long exclusive game to show that PC gaming is not dead. :o

It depends. I've got an excellent PC that can run at high settings for pretty much any game you care to list, but before I got that rig, I couldn't be sure that modern games would actually run on my PC. Among other things, you never have to worry about whether you're console's up to playing a game that's made for it, unless you've got technical trouble. And for some games, having analog sticks or (rarely) motion sensing really helps create a smooth control set-up. PC controls at their worst can have a horrendous ammount of separate action keys.However... Any game that requires aiming that doesn't give you a decent lock-on or something similar... I'd deffinitely buy the PC version. Targeting is one of the biggest embuggerances of trying to play on a console, sometimes. I play all my FPS games on PC, even if it means waiting for a port. PC ports can have iffy results, but sometimes they're much easier and more fun to handle than their original console versions. I'd put forward Mass Effect as an example, or for a less recent title, Escape From Butcher Bay. Both sides have got their merits, so I don't favor one or the other all that much.

I like consoles. Since the control is much more easier for me.. and I can sit far from my TV.

Computers... I'm not used to gamepads when playing fast-paced shooters... RPGs I can play in consoles tho (but I still almost always emulate them instead, it's my pal next door who has the real thing).

I prefer using the PC.You just need to download stuff and viola. As for playing with consoles, you lose a whole lot of cash just with buying one game.

I prefer the PC for FPS (I can't aim on consoles, period.) and RTS (Because lack of mouse drives me nuts).Sadly though, I only get one new computer every several years so I have to use consoles to keep up. I can't disassemble my damn computer to upgrade every time a new game comes out...... Although I did for Red Alert 3, but I did it for freedom, liberty, and apple pie....Did I mention apple pie?
