Am i the only person that finds the tom clancey shooters horrible to play. You can be all stealthy and take half an hour to clear an area then get shot once and have to repeat the whole thing!!!ARRRGG waist of money.

Games that are half and half are cool if they do it right, if you can at one point be stealthy and clear a room thats cool but if in the same game you can go rambo, thats awesome too

i only have played the ghost recon games and they are very good but it is annoying that only a few shots kill you and there is no way to heal, but there are checkpoints every so often so i like these games

i like Toom Clancey style shooters because it takes somewhat more strategy than just simply ramboing into 20+ enemiesalthough normal shooters are fun when you want an adrenaline rush lol

I tend to prefer the arcade style shooters. While I like realism as much as the next guy, I'm generally fairly crap at shooters of any kind, so multiple hits and health restores are nice.

It is a lot more realistic, and it is harder. If you're just not good at shooters, or life, play the other kind. But if you play Tom Clancy games, you'll get better at the easier ones.

i sometimes like that its realistic damage, i just dont like how enemies can kill you from across the map like in advanced war fighter

I prefer normal shooters. Games like Splinter Cell are extremely stressful, and normal shooters are already stressful enough if you play them on the hardest difficulty. Plus, I'm not a fan of stealth games. Thief, Splinter Cell, they are just stressful and creepy.

Depends what type of mood I am in. The only Clancy game to hold my attention is Splinter Cell. Otherwise i'm all for blasting my way through a game

The reason tom clanceys games are so hard is so you dont beat them in 1 hour and 30 minuts like halo 2 , making it hard is what makes the game fun so it isnt too easy

I could never play 3rd person shooters, the camera was too odd for me. Also, Tom Clancy shooters were too tactical, and I got swamped in menus of guns and grenades while people were shooting at me. So I stopped playing them for Halo.

you know i actually like both types. but which one I play when really depends on my mood. Though I will admit that Tom Clancy style shooters frustrate me much faster than regular ones.
