My 3yo gets a kick out of playing Diner Dash on the internet so I'd propose trying that one at least once.

Also New Super Mario Bros. It's fairly easy. Although the later are getting a little harder, It'll take him so long to get there, that he will make it cause of the exp.

The Hamtaro games are good and easy to understand. Cutesy style graphics too, for girls. and if you search Hello Kitty, there are a few there too - theyre in japanese, but the dialogues not a major part of the game - the latest 1 is great for girls - there are a ton of mini-games and cute chracter pics to collect. Also, search 'san-x' theres a cute spot-the-difference game and an older one which is a board game style game.and a must is Tamagotchi! Theres Tamagotchi cornershop 1 and 2 in english which is about playing shopkeeper - u can be a florist, jewellery designer, dentist and tns more fun - perfect for a 4-year old. Or a big kid at heart - it's ok - u don't have to make the excuse its for ur child! :nunchaku:Here are some links to the cover art and screenshots for u to perusePrincess PeachPosted ImageHello Kitty no Gotouchi CollectionPosted ImageTamagotchi cornershopPosted ImageAnimal CrossingPosted ImageHamtaro challengehttp://www.dgemu.com...shots-0951.html Posted ImageDress up Bratz Ponyzhttp://www.dgemu.com...shots-1125.html Posted Image

Bratz Ponyz is a good one for little girls. My daughter loves it. Every time I flip open the DS she comes running up begging for ponys.

Why the hell are people recomending games like Animal Crossing and such to a 4 year old? Honestly I would recommend NOTHING because video games at an early age is in my opinion a mad move but if u really want to recommend a game I'd say Pac-Pix. Barely any reading and all you do is draw. Thats pretty much something you can do if you 1+. And its pac man so theres no violence, profanity, or suggestive themes so its all good.

nintendogs is good for small kids to teach them about responsibility...animal crossing is good to teach them about the concept of $$ and in a way, can help to find out what kind of characters your kid is...

wow thats the dumbest thing I've read in a while. Responsibility? yeah in REAL LIFE If you don't feed your dog for a month most likely it would die where in this game it would just be sitting happily waiting for you. XD As for Animal Crossing, How can they learn the concept of economics by just buying stuff? You can buy stuff in most RPG's and in REAL LIFE. I'm sorry but you PHAIL :D

ha!i'ts violence=reallist, these dudes should meet the real world,no?and rayman it's funniest!

Yeah, Dracula,skeletons,HUGE ASS ZOMBIES= Realistic <_<
