I was going to get my 5 year old some games so he could share my DS. But instead I got him a Leapfrog- Leapster. He loves it and there is a huge variety of good educational and fun games.

Maybe something like NintendoDogs. Pretty good game series. Fun, easy to understand and suitable for little kids >=(

I think Nintendogs or things that have pet related ("taking care of" simulations) would be nice for a 4 year old. Though, there are also those fashion simulation games as well. I guess those could work (maybe).

I think Mario kart DS would be good for her because my neighbour who is 3 years old , he knows how to play it and he loves it a lot .

My son is 2 months shy of three years and he loves playing the mini games on new super mario bros as well as the mini games on mario party. after a couple of tries he learned how to turn on the DS, then choose the mini games he likes.

Games for someone that young Nintendogs, Animal crossing or mario kart would be an excellent choice but really do you want your 4 year old with sticky fingers and pressing to hard playing on a DS I'm not sure about that bit young really, get them a robust console to play with instead...
