When Windows XP 1st cam out, the majority of Windows 98 user wouldn't accept it. They said that XP was bad news and that one day everyone would forget about it and go bak to using 98, and look wat happened. Now the same thing is going on w/ Vista. So, shud we refuse Vista? Or shud we embrace it now and stay ahead of the game for wen everyone does the switch, and XP is old news?

im going to hold off until something happens that forces me to switch, vista is still too new and there are always so many bugs with anything that comes out new. if you dont believe then play a brand new mmorpg and watch how you get hit with patches every week or less

Vista crashes too often...like literally 8 or 9 times a day...i really hate dealing with it...and it has a bad temper when you try using backwards compatibility

i agree that we shouldn't make a switch with our current OS with vista...just let Microsoft fix the bugs and eventually when Vista is truly ready for use...then that would the time to switch...pretty much the same case with XP when it was newly released...many bugs were found and Microsoft did a very good job on updating the system itself and then it became stable as an OS...so i'd say to wait for updates and eventually Vista will have a better perfomance..

isnt that always the case with microsoft? w/ their OSes there are lots of bugs, w/ the xbox the cords melted, and w/ the the 360 the disk drives werent working rite. Dont u think that they shud chek their products extensively before releasing them? and wat about the people that keep buy their new products? wont they ever learn?

All should stick with XP atleast 1 more year before you all switch to Vista, becuse Vista need more upgrades to be used propely, atleast that is my opinion, but if it is a game that needs vista you need the best part for a computer out there and i mean the BEST parts.

My mother recently bought a new computer with Windows Vista, and it has thus far managed to piss me off seven times. I am not easy to piss off, but Vista managed it seven times already. I'm going to stick with XP at least until Service Pack 2 comes along for Vista. And the ability to make it look like Windows XP. Right now it looks like Mac OSX, and I couldn't be more annoyed with that.

Good: Plays many games well, Does good with burning CD's/DVD's, it still beats the ****** out of a mac(The mac commercials only refer to comp newbies who can't turn a setting off.), Microsoft's been giving lawsuits to all them open source OS's.Bad: Classic games rarely play.Ugly: Fable has trouble playing for me.Overall: It's a Good OS.

Don't switch to Vista. The compatibility issues for games are unbearable. I'd wait for SP2 to come out.

all those game work on vista, guess what i got redalert from 1995 working on vista. we r inevitabley going to switch to vista, cuz software makers are going to push us into it. Vista in my opinion is superior to xp in some ways. It is not as bad as many have described it.

It's advisable to wait until Microsoft releases at least one service pack before making the switch to vista.
