I use both laptop and desktop, but the laptop would be the first for me since they are portable and small (well my one is small). I can carry them around the house with no problem :P

Truthfully, it depends upon the person. I would like to have a laptop, if only for the privacy, portability and availability it offers, however, I own a desktop, and that's what I use. Technically, Desktops carry more power and verstility, plus more room for externals and upgrades. I'd suggest a desktop for the gamer, and a laptop for the bussiness man...ehh. Like I said, I'd like a laptop myself, a nice, powerful one that can just be quiet.

Well lately i've just seen Shai posting alot of topics. Anyone going to warn him or is that ok? Topic spamming with just a few titles is really lame. I mean why would you do that? Just for some ROMS? Or just for some cool stuff in the gp store?

Its got to be a laptop, as its portable and most laptops these days are as good, if not better, than your average desktop.

Brains or Looks? Basic choice. Desktops are more powerful and can handle majority of your high end games. Laptops originally made for the average business man have Wifi to connect to the internet at all Tim Hortans, Starbucks, and now the majority of McDonalds. Personally if you don't have a lot of cash I would recommend the laptop. Only because you could feed off of anyone's Internet and it will save you thirty bucks a month. If you got cash flow or you feed of your rents net then go for the desktop. There are laptops out now that have the capability of a desktop so your best bet is a laptop.

I prefer to stay with the desktop. I don't want to be worried with email and other work things when I'm away.

I own a laptop but I think I like my desktop better, it's faster, sturdier and I just knew that if I spill liquid on the keyboard I wouldn't fear buying a whole new unit

I've owned three laptops and I won't even get a desktop anymore. I need something that can come with me. Plus, in my experience, laptops tend to run better.. I had a desktop for a while and it overheated a lot and ran pretty slow.

I like my desktop more than my laptop because it's more ideal for my gaming pleasures :(I hate typing on my laptop also, though that's not much of a turning point in my like or dislike list :(

Try typing the word "fa!l" on dgemu when posting, it appears as succeed. Spell it properly though, F-A-I-L without the dashes, doh!

I would have to say laptop too. Portable not too heavy can bring it pretty much everywhere. Laptops can still have a lot of memory where i can shove alot of crap.

Is the cat in the box alive or dead?

If you open the box, you will know the answer.

You will know the truth.

However, until you open the box, you can claim that the cat is alive, and you can also claim it is dead.

I love laptops but for a good one you're looking at around $4000-$7000 AUD, as a student i shouldnt be using such an expensive computer.
