I think Laptops are useless. I don't see the point of sacrificing specs for "portability." Desktops are typically cheaper and can have way better specs then Laptops at the same price. I just think that Laptops really limit what a computer can do all for nothing. I just don't see why portability is so important. Honestly, I've been laughing at all my friends who have been getting Mac books for college. Just a waste of money.

I've currently got 2 laptops. :P I've had tons of desktops in the past, and about the only advantage I see of those above laptops so far is that I actually know how to take those suckers apart and work on them myself, whereas I don't with a laptop. The cost is usually better, but, since I literally pretty much live online, the portability factor is a MUST for me.

I prefer laptops because of the added portability and if someone is trying to see what you're doing you can just close the lid :nea:

I use a laptop.Overall I prefer laptops over desktops because I prefer carrying my computer around instead of leaving it at home. On top of that, I use wifi a lot so I prefer being able to use the internet when staying in a hotel, airport, restaurant, etc...

I choose Laptop because you can do all the things a desktop can do on your lap...Seriously i think a laptop is better because it has portability and most likely wireless internet capabilities...

I have one laptop and 2 desktops, but I like my laptop more simply because it's the newest and most powerful.

Laptop. You can play anywhere and everywhere. If your lucky enough, youll have a sprint card that allows you to get on line even when your on the road.

Both are good. I use a laptop beacause I dont play many games on PC, but if I did, IŽd use a desktop.

Desktop's are better for me since i love buyin' new cards and stuff. and you can't plug-in/out your onboard utilities on laptop nearly as much as you can with a desktop

Laptop, why? well portable, but it is also better to have a desktop though cause it can handle so much more and can play games better in my opinion.

desktop, because i dont have many places to go, and there's more space on the hard drive. it's also faster and better for gaming and modding games.
