I prefer laptop. Laptops don't really use much space and are very portable. I have a mouse pad but I prefer using my Bamboo Wacom tablet so I don't really have any issues with it. ^_^

I have a new laptop, so I am stuck to it for now. I used to play on a desktop for a while, though.

Desktop wins this round. My quad core processor and 285GTX video card desktop decimates anything my core 2 duo processor and 9600GT(M) video card laptop can handle

I like desktops but the laptop I'm using is currently performing the stationary function of a desktop quite well. Hate the fact that video cards get out of fashion faster than expected.

I prefer the desktop just because of the easiness of replacing parts. Its quite hard to replace parts in a laptop.

^ Yeah, my thoughts are exactly. In the overall senses, I would choose the PC. It's more reliable and I like using the mouse because on the PC, you have to have a mouse. However, on the laptop/notebook there's the touchpad (not sure if I am calling it correctly) I don't like using that too much. And in order for me to use the laptop comfortably, I need to plug in a mouse. So, besides considering the portability factor...I'd still choose the PC over the laptop/notebook.
