Definitely a laptop, because you can take it anywhere and it's easy to use and carry around. I love my laptop, can't live without it! And you can also sit in bed and watch movies on it or play games, you don't have to sit at a desk to use it.

Love the desktop because it is so much easier to upgrade parts to it and, far as I'm concerned, you'll always have a better gaming experience with one. You're not cramped for space on a little keyboard (sure you can plug one into a laptop, but then your chained to a flat surface, so you'd lose a key advantage of laptops), you get bigger, and optionally multiple, displays, you can have much higher sound quality from an external set of speakers and a laptop just can't match a high-end PC's processing power.

Yes... yes they are, hardware-wise. And Desktops are easier to tinker with and add random upgrades to. Laptops, however are more portable and mobile. I think it really depends on your situation and preferences. Like if you're a Tinker, like my cousin, then you'd probably want a desktop, but then again if you're mobile then the laptop is for you :3 Me? I have a Laptop :whistling:

Games work on Laptops. I have Warcraft III, Rome: Total War, Diablo II: LOD and other various games on my Laptop and they work fine.

I have a laptop, but I'm going to build a new desktop this year sometime. Laptops just can't play as many games.

Desktop for me would be better since I have to use 3d softwares like maya and stuff and using laptops cant cut it.. I have to build it and buy the parts separately since those on the markets are overpriced and the stats are sucky..Sides desktops if u build it yourself are waaayyy cheaper in comparison..As for laptops... Macbook pros for me.. For my ipod and iphone syncing... Macs lasts..

Im not afraid to have a laptop, but for now I prefer a desktop. Just because I know for a fact that I would upgrade my laptop and make sure that my ignorance towards people when im at home equals that of my use of my laptop...which isn't good for anyone.

I prefer a laptop so you can be comfy anywhere you use it and take it anywhere :3 I also have a desktop too since it has much more memory and is less likely to die..so I guess its more reliable~

I like laptops because you have that sense of freedom of using it anywhere. With a desktop you're pretty much nailed to one spot. If you can get a powerful enough laptop that doesn't turn into a furnace it's all good.
