I've often been told to get a laptop, but for some reason I'm really attached to my computer. The whole portable thing never appealed to me, since I don't need it to be portable. If I'm going out, I don't need the computer because I'm going out. Plus, I often use it for drawing and such and laptops don't really seem too good for that.

I would suggest a laptop for you since you travel so much. I'm mostly stationary so a desktop is better for my style since i can easily access my comp. just hope that your laptop doesnt break down or something outisde of warrenty

it really depends on the situation sometimes i like the desktop cause it's better to have a large screen but sometimes the laptop is better cause it's portable but it's heavy ><

Laptops are awesome, though you need a wireless keyboard and mouse to go with it, because sometime the one I use gets too overheated, and lets face it, laptops are not always nice to have on your lap.:shifty:

They become reliable and a must when in college. You'll know when you're in a boring lecture.

People who say laptops are better don't generally do things with their PC except surf the web and type up their school papers with, I imagine.A desktop is stationary because of what has to be inside of it to get the power that you require to play some games or watch some videos and do some editing, as that all takes up lots of memory and Graphics Memory.I have both but usually use my Desktop, Because it is a powerhouse. :)

Desktops.Laptops are ONLY good for when you actually need to take a computer somewhere, and you don't plan on doing any gaming at all.Desktops mostly always have more space then laptops (490 GBs ftw) better video cards (Mobility cards are horrible) better processors..And laptops keyboards are annoying..
