i think its the 10 year rule cause im 18 now and pokemon first became big when i was in.. 4th grade so about 10 years and then everyone had a DS and now are playing dimond and pearl... even my friend wanted to buy me a ds just to play with him...

Meh Pokemon can last for a while but mostly with spin-offs like mystery dungeon... I think the actual normal series is getting really old now.

i think that pokemon will always come back. The people in japan are constantly thinking of new pokemon to make for a new series in the tv show, the game and trading cards. There probably is going to be a new diamond and pearl pokemon game that includes catching both legendary pokemon. Pokemon will never die.

I dont think its coming back, moreso than there are still alot of people who grew up in the pokemon generation and are still huge fans.

It never left.I've always seen it boomin' along smoothly at a steady pace.It's sort of like HIV.So far there's no cure to stop it and it's spreading like mad.O_OI'm definitely PokeVirus(PV) positive.xD

Pokemon was gone a little after Ruby, sappire, emeral, but then Diamond and Pearl came out and i just had to get it so yeah its back (I hate the trading cards and cartoon by the way)
