Pokemon is one of the largest franchises in the world (for games), it falls just behind Mario if I recall. It will probably not die for a long time, some of the people posting about it will probably be dead before Pokemon dies. If they 'really' want to rake in the cash they just need to make a Pokemon 3D MMORPG. Since they have all the monsters animated in 3D already it wouldn't be a lot of extra work. I'd lose my life in that game if it was made.- Rico -

As far as popularity, it seems to always be popular with the younger crowd, but eventually dies out as they grow older, just in time for the previous generation to absorb it also.
I hope I get a minus (-) warning level because I really need discounts on DP Conversions/Loans...

I don't really think it's a big hit even if it comes back cause there's too many expansions that have already came out since the original. I play it now sometimes but after awhile, the stuff gets repetitive and the pokemons are getting weirder. In my opinion, probably not.

i think pokemon was never gone, lol, im 18 and ever since pokemon first came out, i've been watching the shows and playing the games, and still to this day im still doing that, and its been what 7, 8 years now..
