Pokemon will never disappear. I loved it ever since I was 6 and I hope it will never go.

Pokemon is coming back in younger kids, but i don't think it died with those of us who love it. I remember a while back my little brothers were like "we hate pokemon", and now they love it.

Yeah, unfortunately. I love Pokemon to death, but for god's sake, we're nearing 500 monsters. I think enough is enough.Only thing I can hope for, however, is a new side-series of the anime that does NOT star Ash Ketchum and his overpowered Pikachu. Can't they follow one of the other BILLION Pokemon trainers for a change? A nerd can dream, eh? :gs:

i think they should make it where it combines all the reigons instead of keeping to make new ones.

Pokemon is a HUGE series right now. Probably one of the top, I don't expect it dying anytime soon and isn't platinum coming out or something :(?

I find it amusing that whenever they add a 3rd title to the twin set, they add something that was either missing/lacking from the last set.Yellow: ColorCrystal: Battle tower/new legendary musicEmerald: Battle frontier/phone calls/cutscenes/team+legendary icons before battlePlatinum: ... (don't wanna spoil it for those who haven't seen all of it, but you can probably guess.)

i'm kinda surprised that it's even lived up until this point, i still remember how it was back 10 years ago and usually these kind of things tend to get old

I think that we all had that sense of adventure and wonder when we first picked up pokemon red or blue on the game boy or the gb pocket. I mean, that was a big part of the whole franchise -- having a giant world you could explore at your own pace and with your own (to a certain extent) customation. I mean, before pokemon, which game gave you the choice of picking six members of a team out of a hundred and fifty? You chose where you wanted to go, and I suppose that was a big part of the attractiveness of Pokemon. There was this, ah, I dunno, this feeling of excitement when you were just going along with the story, not knowing where it took you. I suppose everybody can relate to that sense of amazement and wonder. Now, I dunno about having the four hundred some-odd pokemon out there with repeat and revisited worlds, but then again, I'm part of the old guard. Little kids will enjoy pokemon for a long, long time before Nintendo screws something up irrevocably.

I rememebr when I was 12 years old Red and Blue were new i played it extensivly. G--! I still remeber a few monster names. But ya Pokemon probably wont die out unless people stop buying it alltogether in all regions. If the game sells and the animation still runs it won't ever die.
