Pokemon is so popular it can't die, Its so great because the simlarities of the games yet always bringing something new to the table, its easy to learn in the first place you never need to RE-learn how to play, fun for all ages, similarities cause nostalgia. Pokemon = Never dying any time soon.

Actualy I heard the 3rd 4th-gen Pokemon Game is supposed to be called Pokemon Opal (Which should have Giratina on the cover).

Pokemon gets a lot of anticipation, which probably won't let itself die.

I thought the entire franchise was terrible, but you have to admire any group of money-makers that can last this long; how many years has it been now, and they're still going? They're even more overdone than Naruto and Zelda now.

haha that is so trueBut you have to admit, everyone though it was cool at firstIt was new, it was differentand it followed the pokemon trend that was happening around that timeMaybe pokemon made a comeback because its for the ds, so maybe people expected something newbut its probably more likely that it came back because of the online features of battling people around the world or just without the hassle of the old link cable for the gameboys

Pokemon was always a great game..One of the few that went through many problems and came out alive , not like some other great games who died down after awhile.

Pokémon was never gone,But one thing they should do: getting rid of Ash and co. He should be 20 by now, but he remains a ten year-old kid. So out with Ash and in with a new trainer.Like what they did with Yu-gi-oh.

It never really left, and it doesn't look to be leaving any time soon - D/P is popular now, Ru/Sa was popular when it released, and I'm sure the next duo will be just as popular when they release.
