I don't know why so many people are nuts about it. It is not for me. I don't like pokemon. I admitted that I was fan of Pokemone for a briefly when it was released for the first time a long time ago and lost interesting in it so fast I run nake in the rain! *joking*

i do believe pokemon is back and there are now so many pokemon that i cant keep up lolbut yes i think its back my little bro plays the trading cards as i did in primary school

The pokemon diamond and Pearl series are what has brought pokemon back. If there was no series, then how would it continue after the game got old?

I didn't think it ever died. I do wish it would advance a little more. The Wi-Fi trading and fighting is a really good start but bleh to the Wii version.

Just when was this game serie off? Anyway...The Pokémon TV serie is sooooo off...But games are pretty funny and somehow very intresting...

The video games are back, but that's because they're time consuming. People can spend hours playing without realizing, but the card games and TV shows are still lame. That's just my opinion though.

In my humble opinion, the Pokemon franchise never has, and will not die out. "Pokemon" is now included in various dictionaries, including some spell check programs. The TV anime series continues to be extremely popular with younger kids in japan, and somewhat popular with kids in America. The games continue to top the sales charts every time they are released, and the number of people who show up at expo's are absolutely astounding. The card game also continue to have new booster packs, showing that it is indeed profiting, and there is to some degree popular.

pokemon has been popular ever since they first came out. I don't think they ever leftI thought that pokemon was done for now my little brothers are trading cards and watching the show and playing the games excessivly. So is pokemon back again?

I think pokemon will stick with you I know it has for me but only those 150 lol I got silver and gold but never went past that ... theres way too many I think now ... Poor kids lol Id hate to have to know those 400+ or w/e pokemons with dumb names

it might be. diamond and pearl are pretty interesting. but its sort of getting played out. if they had one game that connected all 3 regions that'd be interesting
