Its making a big comeback but it never left me in the crevises of my room

duh!!!people love pokemon and also bout a year ago pokemon diamond/pearl came out.so its gonna go on for a long timeI thought that pokemon was done for now my little brothers are trading cards and watching the show and playing the games excessivly. So is pokemon back again?

Heck yeah it is I see many people at the lunch table just taking out their ds and i walk past them and look at their screen and guess what I see its back from the late 90's Pokemon!!!!!!!!

I've never played a Pokemon game until Diamond and i'm now hooked and have been for several weeks. I've even got Pokemon Ranger and plan on starting that one when I can tear myself away from Diamond, and to think I always thought it was for kids.

javafreak, if you like diamond, you really need to go back and play from the beginning, and in order. Go get a get a used gba or download the roms, and start with red/blue and then go all the way to ruby and sapphire...

pokemon never left! its a great rpg series, and its adddicting as heck to boot. pokemon will live on forever.and theres over 400 now ifanyone was wondering (exact number escapes my mind)

The main series of Pokemon has never really died out. For those competitive battlers it hasn't even stumbled in the slightest, and D&P increased that by leaps and bounds. Yes, there are a ridiculous amounts of non-legits out there screwing up the competitive scene, (Wonderguard Spiritomb, I'm looking at you.) but with sanctioned events are becoming more common, the cheaters get sorted out anyways.

I like pokemon but what I really want is an mmorpg pokemon game. That's what I'm waiting for. I had hoped they would have created a hard drive for the Wii in order to support it. Maybe they will have a hard drive add on like with the ps2. I'd be happy even if it was for the ds as long as it is truly an mmo game experience.

Dude, it's never left. Kids and old pokemon fans still buy the game and play the card game. I've never actually seen it stop. It slowed a little, but no gone away

The game hasn't really left, my cousin still plays the card game and enjoys it. I myself still play the GBA games from time to time and whenever I look at new games the pokemon games are usually included their though I been out of touch lately so I'm not sure how accurate this is.

there probualy gonna make another ther has only been pokemon diamond and pearl in the sinnoh region.i hope they make one where you can go to all the regions and get all the pokemon if they do that would probualy be the last one but they will probualy keep making more pokemon games like they could make a pokemon purple or something the probualy will make more stuff and get more fans.

With online competitive play, Pokemon will be around for a while. Things could have been even better if Battle Revolution had an online tournament mode.
