I grew up with it. I didn't really start gaming until the SNES era, but I adore IV-VI. Ever since then I've kept a firm hold on the series, and while it's had its ups and downs, it feels like an old friend. My interest is starting to drop - the shift of focus from characters and story to action and gameplay has hit me hard - but I'm trying to stick around for a few more years.

There's just something about a game sporting the Final Fantasy title, with its unique lil' logo on it.everytime i see one, i say to myself, there goes another 40+ hrs of life, cuz i'm gonna be glued to the game. They are just such good RPGs, each in their own respect.fantastic franchise.

Final Fantasy is not the first game I played. As my friend told me to buy Final Fantasy X, I didn't know what is FF? But after that I love FF becaues it is the "game type" I want to play. Then I played other parts of FF.The story, characters, music and battlesystem are so various from part to part.

The story line. The Characters. The great fun of having people call you, in the middle of the videos that you can't pause.

I love it because the Plot, Storyline and everything is just superb.. The more front ones usually have more basic graphics but as it continues to improve, people who play it just can't help but stay at home in their seats for many hours... Just to complete it. So yeah, Final Fantasy games are Awesome and Addicting... They deserve many =cough= love for their effort... Not to mention praises :) :P

The story and many kinds of characters with different personalities give the game something to have fun with. And the battling in FF games are fun to enjoy and gives good challenges.

I never manage to understand why I dislike FFWherever I go I hear people saying FF is the best RPG series ever, and no matter how hard I try to force myself into liking it, it always ends up with me feeling the same for FF... and I just don't understand what it is about FF that makes me dislike it so much, suggestions anyone?BEWARE: :P My feelings for another RPG series, namely Wild Arms, is the exact opposite... though I think it has something to do with the unique story/character development...

Oddly, I think I play them more due to the fact that it's a well-loved game and everyone harps on about it's greatness.Obviously the games are (for the most part) great, but they seem to be long just for the sake of being long. I've got VII & X, and I haven't finished either mainly due to the lack of being able to skip the mountain of text and cutscenes. I enjoy the RPG elements of the good ol' levelling up, but everything in-between really just makes me want to bang my head on a sharp corner. =\ If I could just skip through the text moderately fast that'd be fine, and I'd probably have more fun. But until then, I probably just play it for the sake of being a FF player.

FF7 started my craze for Final Fantasy games. They have simply put incredible story lines and intense characters. The gameplay is always challenging and doesnt get boring. Plus besides the main story there are many side quests to keep you interested in the game. In short it delivers amazing action and doesnt stop until the end where it ends with a bang! :(

Because no matter which one you are playing you're watching a great plot fold out around you along with great gameplay that you actually have to think about not just bash randomly on the keys until something works.Plus each one is easy to start on if you're new but gives several throwbacks to the other games. Take XII for instance --- new players wouldn't know that Gilgamesh wields Cloud's Buster Sword or Squall's Gunblade, but it makes the final fantasy supernerds like myself out there all giddy.
