i think family guy has the funniest jokes, south park is the most current and takes stories out of the media and news, and simpsons is a classic. but i havre to say the most talent goes to southpark. i can only find a few episodes in the whole history of the show that are like uh this is carrying on./....

Wow close one, as of this post simpsons is one vote behind family guy. I was torn with my vote but I had to give it to Simpsons because Family guy has 7 seasons and is going downhill fast, Simpsons got to 10 before it got bad

Wow, tough. Southpark takes it too far the most often yet it has no qualms. Family Guy is more middle of the road. Simpsons are (relatively) tame. I choose Simpsons for they were around long before the other too and [in the words of Homer] keeps on trucking.

South Park is definitely a great comedy for me. Humor you'd find nowhere else. It's small animationslike these that really makes for good out of the blue comedy. Unpredictable.

The SIMPSONS are too serious? I'm having a really really hard time trying to figure out how you got yourself to that statement. I mean seriously, Homer Simpson is the least serious guy you could ever hope to see?But on topic I think southpark is the most original, and I like the fact that there aren't any of those non-linear jokes that Family guy loves. "Thats not as bad as the time I..." and then they pan out to somewhere completely different with something retarded going on, like hitler juggling on a unicycle (Okay I admit I liked that one) Its getting old.My favorite is Family Guy because I've never watched South Park and I think the Simpsons are too serious for my taste.=P

Simpsons first for me, can't beat the classics. It's been with me since I was 4 and I don't regret watching it at all.South Park comes as a close second for me, and it lost out mainly because of some episodes which have no humour at all, despite trying hard (Guitar Queer-o was one of those).Family Guy just does not work for me; it's funny and all, but the random nature is something I cannot get past.

I have recently started watching some old Simpsons DVD sets, namely seasons four and eight and I had forgotten how funny they were. Many of the funniest episodes of any season seem to be written by John Schwartzwelder I have noticed. As for their current material, I try to watch it but it doesn't compare. I wasn't a big fan of the movie either by the way, though it did have its moments. Also, John Schwartzwelder as I mentioned, also likes to insert his name somewhere in alot of the episodes I have noticed. I always look to see where he does it.South Park is hilarious. I have a pretty 'dark' sense of humor so I find many of their storylines to be very entertaining. Although season 12 was fairly tame and didn't catch my interest, I stopped watching it about halfway through the season.And spiralbond, I disagree with you on the Guitar Queer episode, I thought it was pretty funny. The part where Stan started getting 'hooked' on Heroin Hero part made me laugh quite a bit. However yes they were trying a bit too hard throughout that entire season. Oh well, ten hilarious seasons and two okay ones isn't a bad average.Family Guy is one of the most annoying shows I have ever watched. Those random clips every 30 seconds is irritating, especially when most of them aren't even funny. Although it seems to be more of an animated sketch show than an actual sitcom. Some of what they do is funny but they really know how to beat a joke to death.*edit* South Park would be my favorite of the three. Fits my sense of humor more.

This a really hard choice. I feel that the Simpsons is a dying cartoon. The comedy is fading and its just grasping at the glory of being the longest running show ever. Family Guy is beginning to lose its luster because the random humor is becoming predictable. This has gotten to the point when they have done setups for the random humor and just left the scene as is with someone saying "that is a really dumb idea". South Park has somehow remained fresh in its content while remaining true to its past. Kenny doesn't die as much and Cartman has become ever so slightly less racist but the show still holds those ideas and adds so much pop culture that it has to be the current best of the three.

South Park is definitely the funniest. Simpsons is just too old, and too outdated for our times. Family guy is way funny, but its too stupid at times,, its like too much Peter for one episode. And people hate meg(no one knos why). South Park just stays on top by continually making fun of the things we care about like politics/religion/babies. Okay not babies, but im sure ther is an adoption/abortion episode.

Yes actually there is one. I do not remember the name of it but there is an episode that parodies the Terry Schaivo case where Kenny is forced to be kept alive with a feeding tube and Cartman tries legalizing stem cell research so he can find a cure for Kenny, or at least that's what he says to everyone. I think he ends up building a pizza parlor out of the aborted fetuses at the end of that episode.Okay not babies, but im sure ther is an adoption/abortion episode.

i pick south park cause the charecters are more random then in family guy and the simpsons yes they have there own personalitys but south park has a story back ground story for all there cherecters and its eaiser to relate to them

Definitely Family Guy, The Simpsons are pretty good, but South Park is just terrible in my opinion.. Family Guy is just hilarious!
