I'd have to say Pokemon, but i've only played two Yu-Gi-Oh games, so maybe it doesn't count... Reshef of Destruction, and Dungeon Dice Masters... Reshef was OK, but not in the same ball park as Pokemon. Especially not Sapphire.Dunno... Saving up to try out the newest Yu-Gi-Oh right now, maybe that'll change my opinion.

I hate the apple and oranges analogy. Perhaps people should start rewording their questions: not which is better, but which is preferred. Bleargh.I dunno... Yu Gi Oh, because I like card games (yugioh is better played physically, with the real cards and real opponent), Pokemon because I like rpgs (not that it really is one...). Yu Gi Oh. I like the cards, and has better reminiscence effect.

i prefer pokemon for adventurers and yugioh for collectors..both are good games but diffrent kinds..why do we have to chuz from them??juz play all the games there is, and life will be better..

pokemon can get repetetive but it comes with new things all the time. Yugioh games can't have a lot of cards and most of the good cards go away

I like pokemon best. But I dont know why it would be compared to yugioh, unless your talking about the pokemon tcg gameboy game...

yugioh, the girls are better. and the cards offer more strategy
also, get the new gbasp with backlight, it's the best gameboy ever.

I do like pokemon better but you really can't say unless you've played both games. Yu-gi-oh is more for people who like to strategise and Pokemon is jsut all out fun and beating people. That's just my opinion though n_n

Both pokemon and yugioh have good rpg, although, I think the plot in yugi´s games are better

Most Yu-Gi-Oh games dont have plots..but then again neither do Pokemon's.So they both fail in the part.I like the Yu-Gi-Oh series far better than Pokemon's

I like both, but pokemon is of course better.Yu-Gi-Oh games consist mostly of duels, poor storyline. You don't actually get to do many things like in pokemon games.See, Nintendo made the GBA so they can put full use of it in their own games...lolPokemon games are generally of more value because they are far more complicated than Yu-Gi-Oh games.

They are really different games, pokemon is a turn-based RPG and Yu-gi-oh is a card game, all games from yu-gi-oh series have almost no story but great game system, viceversa pokemon have a little story and a "so-so" game system.

I think pokemon is a very good rpg game, and a great adventure. I think it is better then yu-gi-oh, but if you would compare the cardgame (pokemon cardgame and yu-gi-oh) then yu-gi-oh is the better one.

kinda a hard choice there but I must say the yugi games are kinda pretty straight and easier in comparison but when you include the shows as well I'd put them as a dead heat
