their different because pokemon is a game which focus in raising your own virtual pet unlike yugioh which is about cards and dueling to other people...for me, i like pokemon because like tamagochi you are the one who will raise your own pet, battle players, and gain fame by using them...again their different but both COOL games!ROCK ON!

yugi-oh because its more recent. pokemon is too old now. You hardly c ne one play with pokemon cards now, do you?

i would have 2 say pokemon was the better game. better story for me. Yu-Gi-Oh is ok in the tv programs but not the game.

I like both about equally. In Pokemon, the games are more fun, but with YGO, the games mean paying thirty bucks and not having to pay for cards. Pokemon has better games, YGO has a better TCG.

Yugioh is for 7 yr. olds. Pokemon is for all ages. Used to like Yugioh when i was like six. Got over it when i was like 9.

Pokémon was easier to get started with, and much more addicting than Yu-Gi-Oh. I also thought the characters in Pokémon were less lame than the ones in Yu-Gi-Oh, although they have deteriorated alot over the years.

Yu Gi Oh came after pokemon ... i hated the Yu Gi Oh bandwagon ... so i kept getting pokemon cards and battling my friends lol. i still dont get how Yu Gi Oh's game works lol

Pokemon because it just rocks soooo good. Theres many games for it so theres a longer lasting time period then yugioh. Yugioh just has like 4-5 seasons while pokemon has already over that much. Remenber that every different theme song is a new season

Pokemon in my mind. Yu gi oh seemed to random to me. Like they could always just make up rules whenever they feel.

I think Pokemon the cartoon is better than yugioh. yugioh card game and computer games are better though but pokemon is really good tooo. i think they are about even but the new pokemon are a bit lame

pokemon reason #1 the pokemon trading card game is better than yu gi oh even though yu gi oh is supposed to be a card gamereason #2 pokemon is more original than yu gi oh (besides the new pokemon)

haha pokemon games are so much better than Yu-gi-oh games. I kinda like yu-gi-oh games but they just are too confusing and weird for me. Pokemon is so much more easy to learn and is way longer. Pokemon 4 life!!!!
