well in away yu gi oh came from pokemon as it was pokemon that had cards out first and that is what yu gi oh is a card playing game but i would go pokemon anyday

yu-gi-oh is better because they can play monster and the pokemon easy except legendary pokemon.

one of the things i don't like about yugioh is that it's just a card game, pokemon, can be played as a card game, or as a video game with monsters, not just cards. \i like pokemon better

pokemon is better because if i wanted to play yugioh i would just go but some cards but if i want to play pokemon its not like i can go out and buy pokemon and make them fight to the death now can i? didnt think so! lol

I have to go with Pokemon. Yu-Gi-Oh was fun at once, but it lost it's flavour awhile ago. I'm still playing and wanting more Pokemon games.

Yu-Gi-Oh just has more going for it than Pokemon. Pokemon just has nothing new, both the TV series and the new games, they just don't have anything new to offer rather than a rehash of old ideas that made the old ones great but the new ones boring as hell.At least with YGO the card game gets some new depth strategy wise every now and then and the older TV series was watchable as their is something interesting happening every now and then but Pokemon just has the same forumla everytime I see it or play it and I'm dead sick of the f***ing slow leveling system as well.

I noticed that the atmosphere in Yu-Gi-Oh is more serious than Pokemon. It doesn't last in Pokemon, it's always a happy feeling. This didn't exist in Yu-Gi-Oh. There was always a plot to follow. In Pokemon we still don't know what the real plot Ash is aiming it. What does he want to achieve?

Yu-Gi-Oh Trading Card is better than Pokemon Trading Card Game, but Pokemon still better for a RPG genre game.BUT sometimes Pokemon make us boring for it's unchanged plot.
