Well, honestly, Pokemon came first and was a true game before it was a retarded kids show. Yu Gi Oh is one of the dumbest things I've heard of, this whole collect them all, or battle and trade should have ended with the Battle Network series.

if you're talking about the TCG, then Yu-Gi-Oh wins. The TCG is way better than pokemans, although neither can hold a candle to MTG.If you're talking about the video games, then it's pokemans duhr. Who wants to play cards in a video game. That's retarded. I'd much rather walk around and get attacked by strange creatures that I can defy physics and trap in little balls which can then shrink to fit on my belt.

Both are really good. Good games, Tv show and cards. Pokemon has better characters though.

Both are good.Pokemon games with their special RPG style and Yu Gi Oh games with the cards.But I really hope the next yu gi oh game will be improved.

Yu-Gi-Oh obviously, well i admit, pokemon is one game that can be played exactly the way its shown in the anime, but idk, there's something about the strategy and the way the game of yugioh was created... nowadays if you compare the animes you'd see that yugioh's is better, but for the games... i'd guess a tie

Pokemon cards are a bit basic, to be nice, whereas the console games for pokemon are a lot better, but then again, yugioh games only suck cos they're either about the card game (which is better in real life) or dice games (which suck by principle)

i reckon yu-gi-oh's better in the long run 
pokemon gets rather boring if you play it over and over, but in Yu-gi-oh, you can always get new cards and try new strategies =3

woh woh woh pokemon is the best for little kids but i think yugioh is for older kidsIt's all personal preference, y0. But i preferred pokemon.
