It's hard to compare the two games, since they have very different styles of gaming. Yu-Gi-Oh is more of a strategy game, where you have to think a lot to succeed, while Pokemon is more of an RPG, where you train your characters. Although Yu-Gi-Oh is very fun when you get the game, I prefer Pokemon because of the collectibles and all the customization. Still, they're both very good. Whatever rocks your boat.

They are different : Pokemon was in real made for game boy whereas yugioh were adapted for the tcg (as it comes from the manga). The best of them? hum...impossible to have an objective answer because Pokemon is a rpg and yugioh is a tcg - or in other terms a tactical game. these two gameplay are comppmletly different. Nevertheless now I would better play yugioh than pokemon because pokemon doesn't innove a lot. The story is quite the same from the begining even if there are lots of new pokemons. At yugioh, you can always meet new people, different decks, new cards are often made and it is material. Even if there is not realy a story, this game's advantage is that it is material and you can often meet people to play with (at pokemon it's better difficult). Moreover, pokemon is now view as a children play by people whereas yugioh is not so caricatured... But this is my analyse of course. I'm still loving pokemon for the quality of this rpg game and for the nostaly it brings ^^

The pokemon games are much better made and more fun to play than the yugioh ones. But the yugioh show is better than pokemon.

pokemon is better becuz in yugioh u just click stuff you dont get to walk around or anything and i have played the pokemon trading card games when i was younger

You-Gay-hoe is plain stupid. Pokemon's better in every aspect: games and TCGs. What I liked about the pokemon card game is that I could open a pack and be like "Oh, it's so and so!" with yu-gi-oh, it's "WHAT THE HELL IS THIS THING?". Plus, Yu-gi-oh's just, "LOL, my moster pwns urs." pokemon involves actual startegy :/

both can be very strategic, put when i look at it i favor pokemon more, games cost less then buying bundles of cards and it gives same happyness level

4 me i'd say yu-gi-oh. yu-gi-oh i can't stop until i beat sumone badly or sumthin like that. in pokemon it's exciting when i beat sumone important or hard then it gets boring
