Out of all the classic controllers I'd have to say the super nintendo controller is the best. 1. everything was in the right place and it was comfortalble to play with (unlike the N64, who puts a joystick in the middle like that? grrrr)2. I guess it was pretty plain looking compared to it's more colorful cousins later down the road but I still like the design, Boring but effective.3. Turbo button!!! (this was only third party controllers though not the official nintendo one) that's my opinion...LO LO Lukana.

It's gotta be the SNES. It had just enough buttons, was nice and light, it never broke and always seem compatible with any game. Basically every console since then has been based on the SNES's great design.Of course, a good nominee for worst controller is easily the Wii. I never figured that a bad controller would be enough to totally kill an entire console, but they managed to pull it off. Seeing some of these third party companies try to cater to that horrible controller is just laughable.Stevo

Yeah...the N64, while a great system had one TERRIBLE controller. It was an awkward fit in your hand too. And the stick wore down too quickly. Gamecube controller was a great controller.

I think the N64 controller is terrible due to its shape and many buttons, NES light and simple to use. but i Prefer the PlayStation controller the most.

I'd have to say the original Xbox controllers are best(not the huge controllers, the smaller ones that the 360 controllers were based off of.)

N64 Controller is my favorite. It works real well on the few good FPS games they have for that console...My next favorite is the Playstion 3 controller it cause of the Dual Shock and motion sensor...If you have to use a game pad for racing I like the L and R touch sensitive throttle buttons on the XBOX.

Super Nintendo. Every button was easily accessible and I don't believe there were very many games that didn't actually use all the buttons one way or another.

as far as donig what needs to be done on the screen, i'd go with any of Nintendo's systems. as far as feel in my hand, xbox is so much better. and for anyone that hated the original xbox remote (the huge one) i love it, but i have huge hands, so i understand why you don't. but the 360 remote's feel is great. my hands get sweaty sometimes when i play, but i never lose grip on those things.actually after thinking about it more, i think the duck hunt controller was the best ever, because it was the most realistic and easiest to use.actually after thinking about it more, i think the duck hunt controller was the best ever, because it was the most realistic and easiest to use.
