(ブリーチ, Burīchi?, romanized as BLEACH in Japan) is an ongoing manga series authored by Tite Kubo that has appeared in Weekly Shonen Jump magazine since August 2001.Bleach follows the adventures of Ichigo Kurosaki, a high school student with the ability to see ghosts, and Rukia Kuchiki, a shinigami (Soul Reaper or, literally, "death god"). The early parts of the story focus mainly on the characters. As events unfold, the story begins to delve deeper into the world of these gods of death.The manga series has been adapted into an animated television series, two OVAs, two animated feature films, a rock musical, and numerous video games. Compilation volumes of the manga have sold over 40 million copies in Japan, and have reached the top of manga sales charts in the United States. The manga received the Shogakukan Manga Award in 2005, and the anime has been nominated for several American Anime Awards.So far there is only 323 chapters of Bleach manga (33 volumes) and 172 episodes of the anime. I honestly could go either way, but tend to go with something I could understand.

Does anyone else feel as though japanese animes+japanese voice acting= the definition of coolness, maybe its just me since thats how I grew up admiring Japan....I feel like I'm one of those people who are called Japanite or japanophile or some crap like that after re-reading this :laugh:

personally, i like the dubbed version. it is hard to read subtitles and watch the action at the same time...man, i love Bleach! fave anime by far!!

i read the mangabut dont really watch the anime alotbut if i read a good chapter with lots of action in itex. ichigos first bankaiusually ill watch the anime for itand i like subbedno offence but the english version ppl kinda sound wierd o.0

If you read the manga have you read the newest Bleach Chapter 284. It's about Ichigo vs Grimmjow their third and final battle.

yea i read that one i cant believe ichigo remained in that form for so longespecially when he could not retain it for like 10 seconds b4wat surprised me even more was grimjows true formhe looks like an armadillo lol

Yeah what also troubled me in a way is that Orihime was afraid of Ichigo for some reason. Maybe it was his Hollow dark eyes or something.
