I think that Kenpachi will show only a Shikai and defeat Noitora....somewhat similar to what Mayuri did to Szayel.

Kurotsuchi used bankai on Szayel. Kenpachi's sword is his Shikai, he doesn't have bankai.

Why you guy think Kenpachi only hope in winning is suddenly have a power up. why he cannot lost at least once? a suddenly can communicate with his sword. impossible

If kenpachi lose who will fight against nnoitra? I don't think ichigo can fight because he has not recoverd yet

Mayuri eventually killed Szayel with his shikai form, after his Bankai self-destructed.If Ichigo can obtain a Bankai in 3 days (just like Urahara), why wouldn't Kenpachi be able to do the same thing?

who is this he you are talking about. Mayuri or the 5th espada? oh I am dissapointed they give a special power up for Zaraki kenpachi in the newest chapter. Hate thios sudden Super saiyan stylemaybe he doesn't care about his sword so much and made it hard for kenpachi to obtain bankai

yeah, i thought it was kinda lame that he was like "if i use two hands i'll be stronger" and now he's gonna be ridiculously strong. i still want kenpachi to win, but his victory will be a bit stale especially after what mayuri did to szayel, i mean that was just too cool!

I think that Kenpachi has some sort of a "power-up" (whether a bankai or a released state of shikai) but he didn't want to show it yet.Just like Madarame does not want everybody to know about his bankai, or how Yumichika doesn't want people to know about his zanpaktou's power.

I doubt Kenpachi has a bankai. He doesn't seem the type. Though he did lose to Ichigo before even trying two hands.

Bleach is awesome! As for comparing the original japanese voices to the dubs, the dubbed version of bleach is better when compared to most of the dubbed versions of other anime but the original is still way better. Oh, about the Kenpachi-Nnoitra issue, I wouldn't mind if Kenpachi lost to Nnoitra. I just hate the fact that most people tend to overrate Kenpachi but, don't get me wrong, he's one of my favorite characters. Most of you probably think he'll win since Mayuri beat Szayel but Szayel was just a researcher (and, not to mention, just the 8th Espada.) who beat Renji and Ishida just because he came prepared for them. I think Kenpachi will lose (You can't win them all, you know) but I wouldn't want him to die. I think someone unexpected will show up before Nnoitra delivers the final blow and take on Nnoitra from there.

he must lose the battle. All the strong person get stronger when they kept on losing. two hands then win easily? and even if the 5th is force to a corner the hidden Ace will come soon. the 4th espada who will soon chase after Ichigo. Since how Kenpachi survive

Isn't Zaraki's sword always in shikai state cus of his immense reitsu?? I hope he wins though, i dun like Noitora

how about a double K.O like in his fight againist Ichigo. yeah his sword is alway in shikai though I not sure because to unlock shikai, don't one need the name of the zanpatou firstIsn't Zaraki's sword always in shikai state cus of his immense reitsu?? I hope he wins though, i dun like Noitora

Great manga.Hopefully Kenpachi's fight will end next chapter, as it has been going on since 307.Maybe end in a stalemate? Or might see Inoue or Yachiru use there powers?

Since it is not clear how Kenpachi got into the Gotei 13 is it possible that his zanpaktou is an Asauchi (sword that has no name).

I know that, but it is unclear whether he went to the shinigami academy, became a member of one of the divisions, rose in ranks and then killed him.Or did he just walk in, challenge the captain, killed him and became a captain himself.Because I never saw or heared Kenpachi speak of using Kidou, and to go through the academy you must use kidou.If he didn't get accepted into the academy, then he has an Asauchi therefor no shikai, no bankai

I think there were three way to become captain but I can only remember two one is to obtain bankai just Ilija said or defeat one of captain in gotei 13
